been a while since we had to cancel our last meeting. We had things
moving in such positive directions I'm hoping we can get things moving
again. I put out some feelers a few months ago about a potential topic
for our next meeting. The topic was easement language, specifically
language pertaining to some of the more difficult issues such as: wind
energy installations, solar energy installations, and forest management.
I also put out some feelers to those that might be able to present information
to the group on these types of topics. They include NYS Dept of Ag and
Markets, a <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Hudson</st1:PlaceName>
<st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Valley</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> based solar energy
company, and the Hudson Valley Chapter of the Society of American
Foresters. I got positive responses from all. The focus would
likely be site selection and best management practices. This could
definitely help inform easement language.</span></font><o:p></o:p></p>
