<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">We have two potential dates for next meeting:</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">February 27 (12:00- 2:30)</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">February 28 (12:00- 2:30)</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">We may run under 2 1/2 hours but we might as well make room for the time.</FONT>
</P>
<P><U><B><I><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Please reply if either or both dates work for you (or if neither works).</FONT></I></B></U><B><I></I></B><I></I>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">The draft meeting agenda looks like this:</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">1. Intro/welcome</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">2. Speakers: Paul Elconin (OSI), Damon Oscarson (Westchester Land Trust), John Middlebrooks (Rensselaer-Taconic Land Conservancy) , Maryanne McGovern/myself (Scenic Hudson) will talk about:</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">-their individual organizations (what org does, structure, history)</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">-where they are in the accreditation process</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">-how their organization approached accreditation (dedication of volunteers/staff/funding , how accreditation was prioritized)</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">-how the process actually helped their organization, types of things they are greatly improved upon as a result</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">-Perhaps a quick show and tell of binder (here's our binder), </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">-one speaker could explain the binder concept in detail</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">3. Then all the speakers can sit on a panel and answer questions from the group. Speakers could also share words of wisdom, suggestions, pitfalls, what happens after you submit materials, etc.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">4. Allow attendees time to look at binders, checklist, etc and ask more questions informally.</FONT>
</P>
